PURPOSE OF THE Directory

This is a database of artists performing live music in Second Life. Each post has identical headings although the amount of information on each artist varies. I hope the headings are comprehensive enough to provide useful information for a variety of people.

The Directory is searchable alphabetically, by artist, genre and country . . . . see more down the right hand side.

In some cases I have also reviewed the artist in my linked blog - Live Music In Second Life. This is flagged up for you.

New artists are continually being added as time permits and as I listen to them. Let me know if you wish to be added.

Bluemonk Rau is a blues keyboardist and vocalist out of Austin, Texas
performing Blues, Classic R&B and Soul live   He's been playing professionally since 1973.  Don Ray Houdyshell in real life has over 35 years professional performance and recording experience.  He has performed in such large venues as Willie Nelson’s 4th of July picnic ( 4 times ) and once at Farm Aid.  Though often a sideman in acts from Country to Jazz, he has always remained true to his blues roots.  When performing in Second Life he only uses backing tracks he recorded himself that include only bass and drums though he does occasionally perform with no backing tracks, depending on the venue.
